1) Introduction and History :

   0.01  - original version (1st Dec 1997).
   0.02  - micro/macrophile tags.

   1.0   - slight modification to qualifiers and orientation-exception.
   2.0   - No clear modification, but an encoder has been built.
   2.0.7 - Decoder now avalaible.

   2.2   - Complete rebuild of the flags and qualifiers.
   2.5   - Encoder and Decoder rebuilt as cgi.
   3.0   - Rebuilt the entire site again to work with modern browsers afte 24 years!
   3.0.1 - Modernized format, expanded gender/orientation options, additional modifiers.
   3.0.2 - Added new qualifiers and WIXXX flags, removed the "RL Animals" section to fit modern times.

2) Header :

   The header of the code consist of the version of the yiff code,
   (currently 3.0) then your gender and your main sexual orientation.
   
   Gender options now include:
   - M (Male)
   - F (Female)
   - H (Hermaphrodite)
   - N (Non-binary)
   - G (Genderfluid)
   - O (Other)
   
   Sexual orientation options now include the Kinsey Scale and:
   - het (Heterosexual)
   - kinsey-1 (Hetero slightly Homo)
   - kinsey-2 (Bi slightly hetero)
   - bi (Bisexual)
   - kinsey-4 (Bi slightly homo)
   - kinsey-5 (Homo slightly hetero)
   - hom (Homosexual)
   - trans (Transexual)
   - pan (Pansexual)
   - ace (Asexual)
   - demi (Demisexual)

3) Categories :

   Each Category (plushophilia, zoophilia, toonophilia, fursuitophilia,
   virtual sex and human sex) follows this format:

   Category letters:
   - P (Plushophilia - Plush Animals)
   - Z (Zoophilia - RL Animals)
   - T (Toonophilia - Furry Toons/Anthros)
   - S (Fursuitophilia - Fursuits)
   - V (Virtual Sex - TinySex)
   - H (Human - RL Sex)

   The qualifier explains your 'activity' toward the category.

   - Pr (Practicing)
   - Th (Thinking of it)
   - Cu (Curious)
   - Tr (Tried it, but it's not for me)
   - Ne (Never tried it, and don't intend to either)
   - Ce (Celibate, abstaining for personal reasons)
   - No (No comment)
   - Ns (Not sure)
   
   New category-specific qualifiers:
   - Co (Collector only - Plushophilia)
   - En (Enthusiast - Plushophilia)
   - Rp (Roleplay only - zoophilia, Toonophilia)
   - Fa (Fantasy only - zoophilia)
   - Ar (Art only - Toonophilia)
   - Ma (Maker - Fursuitophilia)
   - Pe (Performer - Fursuitophilia)
   - Ca (Casual - Virtual Sex)
   - Lo (Long-term only - Virtual Sex)
   - Mo (Monogamous only - Human)
   - Po (Polyamorous - Human)

   The orientation-exception might be different from your main sexual
   orientation and applies only to the current category. Options now include:
   het, bi, hom, pan, ace.

   The modifiers affect the way you consider the current category:

   - ve (Vintage/Antique)
   - po (Pokémon)

   The favourite-species should indicate which species you prefer.
   In V3.0, species are enclosed in asterisks (*) for clarity.
   
   The orientation-exception, modifiers and favourite species are optional fields.
   The qualifier field MUST be entered.

4) WIXXX Flags :

   The Wixxx Flags specify more of your preferences and interests.
   All WIXXX flags are optional, just check those which match you.
   
   Format: WIXXX:[flag numbers separated by commas]
   
   Example: WIXXX:2,3,31 (Bondable, Clued-in, Cuddling)
   
   New flags in v3.0:
   - 55: Tentacles
   - 56: Degradation
   - 57: Petplay
   - 58: Hypnosis

   The editable WIXXX fields allow you to add custom flags.

5) Comments and Explanations :

   About the favourite species : (read this carefully)

      Species in V3.0 are enclosed in asterisks (*) for clarity.
      Example: P *wolf_fox* Pr

      If you want to list them in no particular order, divide them by
      clicking on the 'And' button. A '_' sign will be added to show
      you like these species equally.
      Example: *wolf_fox_tiger* (like wolves, foxes, and tigers equally)

      If you want to specify an order of preference, divide them by clicking 
      on the 'Then' button. A '-' sign will be added to show your preference.
      Example: *wolf-fox-tiger* (prefer wolves most, then foxes, then tigers)

      You can combine these separators:
      *fox_wolf-coyote-dog_lion-tiger* means you like foxes and wolves equally
      and most, then coyotes, then dogs and lions equally, then tigers.

      If you want to show that you also like all species (or too many to list),
      click on the 'All' button. A '-*' sign will be added.
      Example: *wolf_fox-** (prefer wolves and foxes equally, then all others)
      *Attention*: you shouldn't add text behind the wildcard asterisk.

      If you are Practicing a category, your partner(s) should be listed as
      either the only species, or your favourite species:
      Z *dog_horse-coyote* Pr means you are a practicing zoophile with dog
      and horse partners, and are also attracted to coyotes.

      For the V category, the species refers to the roleplaying/spiritual
      phenotype of your current or ideal partner(s):
      V *cheetah* Pr means your online partner has a cheetah fursona.

      V3.0 includes quick-select dropdown menus to help you choose common species.
